More About Ronni…

Ronni Davis (she/her) is an author and editor based in Chicago, IL. She holds a BA from The Ohio State University and began her editorial career in 2005 at McGraw-Hill. From there, she’s gone on to work as a copyeditor, line editor, and editor at various publishing companies, advertising agencies, and consulting firms. In addition, she's studied acting and gotten certified to teach yoga. She loves the written word and has been known to read dictionaries for fun. Her first novel, WHEN THE STARS LEAD TO YOU, is available now from Little Brown Books for Young Readers, and the anthology YOU TOO?, in which she is a contributor, is available now from Inkyard Press.

In her spare time, you can catch Ronni spending time with her husband Adam and son Aidan, cuddling her kitty cats Miles and Charlotte, gazing at her 2 zebra danios in rapture, playing the Sims or Animal Crossing, eating too much candy, or planning her next trip to Disney World.

Ronni’s authenticity reads include manuscripts that center Black American culture, Black-white biracial culture, Black-white interracial relationships, city living, mental illness (specializing in depression and anxiety), marriage and children, and interfaith relationships (Christian and Jewish).
